Jaren M. Fernan was born and raised in West Islip, New York along with his two brothers, Alex and Greg, where he attended public school, graduating from West Islip High School in 2006. Jaren was awarded a regent’s scholarship and was a member of the honor society. After high school, Jaren attended SUNY Geneseo, where he majored in International Relations with a focus in Global Economics and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2010.

After college, Jaren stayed in New York and attended Touro Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2015. He was on the Dean’s List of Distinguished Students and was awarded several CALI awards for achieving the highest grades in his classes. Jaren was also a proud member of Touro Law Review, and one of his articles was published: “Searches and Seizures: Constitutionally Protected or Discretionary Police Work.”

After graduating, Jaren took and passed the New York State Bar Exam that same year. Afterwards, he immediately went into private practice as an associate at Lite & Russell, PLLC, proudly beginning working under the tutelage of his uncle, Justin Lite, at the law firm started by his grandfather, Joseph Lite.

Jaren Fernan has practice in the areas of personal injury, real estate transactions, and estate planning. He continues to enjoy a successful practice as a civil litigator and trial attorney, having worked on and handled thousands of cases. Jaren is proud of the rapport he builds with his clients on both a professional and personal level. He has a strong client base that he zealously advocates for, which has been developed through the recommendations of prior satisfied clients, the surrounding community, and other attorneys themselves.

Jaren is currently a member of the New York Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association, and admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He is also a member of a not-for-profit before and after school program for children.
